With breathtaking views of the majestic San Juan mountains, the Beaumont Hotel sits today as it has for over 120 years in the heart of one of the most magnificant places you\'ll ever discover.
Established in 1886, as the original weathervane that sits proudly atop the hotel tower displays, the original vision for the hotel was to lure investors for mining from eastern cities to the tiny town now thriving at the height of the gold boom. After being closed for over 30 years the building was purchased and sparing no expense the new owners vowed to restore it to its original elegance.
Each of the Hotel\'s 12 rooms are elegantly and uniquely decorated, all with breathtaking views. All rooms are comfortably designed with queen size beds, large bathrooms, TV with DVD/VHS plus telephone and free wireless internet, and individual controls for heat and air conditioning. The rooms are designed with period furnishings and wall coverings. Many include original hotel furnishings that have been restored. All have been designed to maintain the historical significance of the hotel while catering to the needs of today\'s guest. The hotel offers three categories of rooms: Luxury Rooms, Jr. Suites and Suites.
You will not only enjoy staying at the hotel because of its beauty and historic significance but will enjoy dining in our exclusive Tundra Restaurant where we offer the choice of elegant, fine dining in the historic dining room, or outdoor dining in a casual, European setting on our heated Courtyard.
