The Ouray Canyon Club hosts this annual festival. The theme this year will be "Canyoneering Around the World" Year-round "Crown Jewel of Ouray County!"...meetings, conferences,parties, weddings. Certified commercial kitchen, AV, event planning and catering available. All Every summer since 1960, the OCAA has sponsored a juried arts show, the "Artist Alpine Holiday" in Ouray, Colorado. Housed in the Miners' Hospital, built in 1887. Outstanding exhibits of Ouray County history. Mining, ranching, railroading, special exhibits, books and gift shop. For over thirty years, the Ouray County Performing Arts Guild has provided quality events in music, dance, and theater to Ouray County. OCPAG strives to bring presentations and performers of the highest caliber in the performing arts for the enjoyment of the Ouray County's visitors and residents of all ages. Year-round Located in the ranching community of Colona, Colorado, the Ouray County Ranch History Museum preserves, exhibits, interprets, and educates the public about the area's colorful ranching heritage. Home to the museum is the historic Colona School. Built in 1915, the school is a registered historic landmark in its own right. Sundays, June through September A centerpiece in the community for over 105 years. Lodge available for weddings and gatherings. The Ouray Ice Park is an outdoor park featuring ice climbing, viewing, hiking trails, all for free! Winter The Ouray Mountain Rescue Team was incorporated as a non-profit organization to serve the technical rescue and emergency service of Ouray County and the surrounding mountain communities of Southwestern Colorado. Year round A non-profit corporation of volunteers, founded in 1985, dedicated to the preservation and safe public use of Ouray County's trails. Hiking maps sold at local businesses and visitor center. Art Partners of Delta, Montrose, and Ouray is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building one-to-one mentoring partnerships between young people and responsible caring adults. year round Ridgway Railroad Museum displays the history of Ouray County's world-reknown Rio Grande Southern, Silverton and D&RG narrow-gauge railroads. year-round The Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) Network provides counseling support, business training to current and prospective business owners and non -profits, as well as provide information on state and federally funded programs. With facilities in both Ouray and Ridgway, Weehawken offers classes and workshops for adults and children year-round.
