Every summer since 1960, the OCAA has sponsored a juried arts show, the "Artist Alpine Holiday" in Ouray, Colorado.
Housed in the Miners' Hospital, built in 1887. Outstanding exhibits of Ouray County history. Mining, ranching, railroading, special exhibits, books and gift shop.
For over thirty years, the Ouray County Performing Arts Guild has provided quality events in music, dance, and theater to Ouray County. OCPAG strives to bring presentations and performers of the highest caliber in the performing arts for the enjoyment of the Ouray County's visitors and residents of all ages.

Located in the ranching community of Colona, Colorado, the Ouray County Ranch History Museum preserves, exhibits, interprets, and educates the public about the area's colorful ranching heritage. Home to the museum is the historic Colona School. Built in 1915, the school is a registered historic landmark in its own right.

The Ouray Mountain Rescue Team was incorporated as a non-profit organization to serve the technical rescue and emergency service of Ouray County and the surrounding mountain communities of Southwestern Colorado.
