DogWatch of the Western Slope was established in 2005 by Charlie and Vicci Spencer, a husband and wife team who make their home in Ridgway, CO. They are very happy to be able to provide the dog owners in their area with the most advanced technology available in the pet containment industry. DogWatch patented FM system, two year battery life, and fastest react time in the industry are a few of the features that set DogWatch above the others.
Charlie and Vicci take great pride in their training program that accompanies each installation, and work very hard to provide the best possible customer service to dog owners in their area. Charlie has bred, raised and trained Golden Retrievers for many years and feels that he can successfully train your dogs to the system.
How the DogWatch System Works
With a pet containment system from DogWatch, your pet can roam and play freely throughout your yard while protecting your garden, swimming pool patio, or other small area. And, unlike more costly wooden or chain link fences, your dog or cat can't jump over or dig under a DogWatch underground dog fence.
Our Indoor wireless pet containment systems let you decide where your pet can and cannot go in your home. Keep your K-9 kids off the couch, away from the kitchen island, out of the guest bedroom, no limit to the solutions your Dealer can design for your lifestyle.
Our electronic dog fence systems keep an eye on your pet by transmitting our exclusive SafeLink FM radio signal through a buried underground wire installed around your yard. A lightweight waterproof receiver worn on your pet collar picks up the signal. Your DogWatch Dealer will adjust the range that suits your pet and your property. When your pet gets too close to the boundary of the underground dog fence, an audible warning reminds your dog or cat not to cross. If the warning is ignored rare after training the collar emits a mild stimulation.
A pet containment system from Dogwatch is a radio pet fence that uses an electronic radio signal. Our underground dog fence keeps your pet IN a designated containment area, such your backyard or OUT of an area like your garden! All pet fencing systems are a form of electronic dog fence and should not be mistakenly referred to as an electric fence that contains livestock with an electrified wire.
