47th Annual Jeep Raffle - We Have a Winner!
Congratulations to the holder of ticket #144 from Maypearl, TX who won this year's 2011 Jeep Wrangler X! With all the boistrous congratulatory noise at Oktoberfest right after the drawing, the winner almost couldn't hear his winning telephone call. The winning ticket was purchased in a group of 7 through the Visitor's Center, which just goes to show that yes, you can win a Jeep for $20!
A special thank you goes out too all of the local merchants, restaurants and lodgers who sold over 13,000 raffle tickets this year, and to Switzerland of America Jeep Tours for donating the lift kit and keeping the Jeep so well maintained all summer.
To everyone else who participated this year, we thank you for your support of our annual raffle, which supports Ouray student scholarships, Fourth of July and New Year's Firewords and the purchase of a new Jeep.
We will update you on this page when we begin the 2012 Jeep Raffle. Next year's Jeep will be Raffled off at the 2012 Oktoberfest celebration on October 6, 2012
